About this role
The Howard County Public School System seeks a Resource Teacher to provide districtwide leadership in improving mathematics instruction and intervention for students with disabilities. This role involves building educator capacity, promoting evidence-based practices, coaching, training, and ensuring effective implementation of interventions within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
What we are looking for
6- Provide districtwide leadership in mathematics instruction and intervention for students with disabilities
- Build educator capacity and promote evidence-based instructional practices
- Offer educator coaching, training, and countywide professional learning sessions
- Ensure effective implementation of mathematics interventions within MTSS
- Collaborate with mathematics and special education teams to strengthen specially designed instruction
- Support implementation of HCPSS PreK-12 Mathematics Policy
