IT Security Engineer III

Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Security Engineer III to join the AEGIS Security Infrastructure Engineering team supporting the NASA AEGIS Program in Huntsville, AL. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network security infrastructure for mission-critical NASA environments, acting as a senior technical resource for complex security solutions.

• Design, engineer, implement, and maintain enterprise network security solutions
• Lead engineering efforts with Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, SASE, WAF, VPN
• Serve as technical lead for complex infrastructure deployments and modernization
• Develop secure network architectures and provide technical guidance
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of security issues
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
