Security Engineer, Application

As an Application Security Engineer at Genworth/CareScout, you will manage technologies and processes for secure application development across physical and cloud environments. You will provide application security services and support to internal partners, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. This role requires 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering with a focus on Application Security, DevSecOps, and cloud security.

• Operate and maintain vulnerability scanning tools and AST platforms
• Partner with development teams to identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities
• Support security investigations and remediation activities
• Administer, monitor, and operate security technologies and automation platforms
• Participate in security assessments, threat identification, and risk reduction initiatives
• Assist with vulnerability triage, CI/CD security reviews, and remediation tracking
