Application Security Engineer

FareHarbor is seeking a full-time Application Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering team in Amsterdam. This role focuses on application security and secure SDLC initiatives, including security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and CI/CD security controls. You will collaborate with product and platform teams to integrate security throughout the development lifecycle.

• Perform application security reviews, code reviews, and threat modeling
• Implement and maintain security controls in CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Identify, assess, and remediate application vulnerabilities
• Provide guidance on secure coding practices and architecture
• Support security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response
• Collaborate with product, platform, and security teams
