Cyber Security Engineer III

Blue Origin is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III to engineer, harden, and accredit secure systems for national security missions. This hands-on role involves implementing security controls, driving accreditation processes, defending environments, and automating security operations. You will have significant ownership and influence in building security playbooks and standards for classified enclaves and ground systems.

• Engineer and harden classified enclaves, mission ground systems, and labs
• Implement security architecture including network segmentation, IAM, and encryption
• Drive system accreditation through RMF to ATO and ATC
• Perform vulnerability scanning, remediation, and continuous monitoring
• Automate security operations and compliance tasks using scripting
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team standards
