Senior Security Research Engineer

Qualys is seeking a Senior Security Research Engineer to join their Threat Research Unit. In this role, you will analyze vulnerabilities, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and create detections and mitigations for customer systems. You will work on both offensive and defensive security measures, including designing and writing stronger mitigations.

• Analyze vulnerabilities and develop proof-of-concept exploits
• Build non-harmful checks to detect vulnerabilities on customer hosts
• Assess mitigation bypasses and design stronger mitigations
• Proficient in Python, C/C++, Go, or Rust
• Experience with debuggers and disassemblers
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Vulnerability research
