Security Engineer

Join Snap's Detection and Response team in Sydney as a Security Engineer. You will build and deploy security systems, research new security capabilities, and investigate suspicious activity. This role balances project work with incident response and detection engineering.

• Build, deploy, and maintain large-scale security systems
• Research and innovate security capabilities with new tooling
• Develop automation strategies to reduce manual alert triage
• Conduct detection engineering for endpoints, infrastructure, and cloud
• Investigate alerts and potential incidents end-to-end
• Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with global teams
