Associate Security Engineer (Application Security Team)

Join Truist's Application Security team as an Associate Analyst to help developers build secure software. This entry-level role focuses on developer enablement and provides an opportunity to build expertise in application security disciplines like SAST, SCA, and DevSecOps automation. You will support teams by creating training, documenting processes, integrating security tools, and automating tasks.

• Support developers across AppSec disciplines (SAST, SCA, cloud scanning, DevSecOps)
• Create and maintain developer training and secure-coding guidance
• Document team processes and workflows
• Assist with security tool and pipeline integration
• Write scripts to automate tasks and gather data
• Apply AI and automation tools for efficiency
