Senior Platform Engineer, Security

Simplesense is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer, Security to automate, harden, and deploy security tooling and architecture across complex hybrid IT and OT environments. You will be responsible for the technical implementation, configuration automation, and foundational security reviews of core security capabilities, partnering with broader teams to ensure platform resilience and security. This role is hybrid in Denver, San Antonio, or Brooklyn, or remote for US-based candidates.

• Automate configuration management playbooks to standardize and secure enterprise tooling
• Build and scale automated IaC deployments for operational environments and security tools
• Automate user provisioning and access for streamlined identity management
• Embed security concepts and tooling into the development pipeline
• Implement and harden automated security groups, network policies, and cloud infrastructure
• Deploy and maintain secure package management proxies and local repositories

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
