About this role

Join CIBC's Cyber Operations team as a Detection Engineer to design, build, and support threat detection content. You will leverage frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK to identify and alert on cyber threats within the CIBC environment, collaborating with various security teams. This role operates on a hybrid work model, with 1-3 days on-site per week.

What we are looking for

Design, build, and support threat detection content
Leverage MITRE ATT&CK and cyber kill-chain knowledge
Collaborate with Threat Hunting, SOC, Incident Response, and Red Team
Work within an Agile/Scrum development framework
Analyze threat surfaces including Endpoint, Network, Cloud, and Active Directory
Minimum five years of experience in Information Security
