Digital Technology Senior Specialist - Cyber Security Engineering

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Security Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate their enterprise security telemetry platform, specifically Google SecOps. This role focuses on engineering, administration, scalability, and continuous improvement of the platform, including building security telemetry pipelines and automating operational tasks. The position requires a strong platform engineering mindset and experience with large-scale security logging platforms.

• Engineer and operate the Google SecOps platform for enterprise-scale environments
• Design, build, and optimize scalable security telemetry ingestion pipelines
• Develop and maintain parsers, mappings, and UDM normalization
• Automate platform administration and operational tasks using Python and CI/CD
• Develop operational dashboards for platform health and performance monitoring
• Collaborate with cloud engineering, infrastructure, networking, and SOC teams
