Security Engineer

Exa is seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain the security infrastructure for its AI search engine. You will be responsible for protecting systems that process web-scale data, train AI models, and serve enterprise customers, ensuring both security and operational velocity.

• Build and maintain secure infrastructure
• Cloud security fundamentals (AWS, IAM, CI/CD)
• Secrets management, key management, and certificate lifecycles
• Owned compliance efforts (HIPAA, SOC2)
• Security hardening and system operations (VPN, servers)
• Vigilance for vulnerabilities, attacks, and abuse
