About this role

State Street's Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering team seeks an experienced Application Security Engineer to design, implement, and support Application Detection and Response (ADR) capabilities. This role involves partnering with development and security teams to enhance application security posture, detect threats, and improve incident response.

Define and build the organization's Application Detection and Response (ADR) strategy
Partner with Engineering, Security Operations, Cloud Security, and Application Development teams
Lead the deployment, onboarding, and operational support of ADR platforms
Monitor, analyze, and investigate application-layer security events
Develop use cases, detection logic, alerting mechanisms, and response workflows
Integrate ADR platforms with incident response processes
