Principal AI Governance & Security Engineer

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a Principal AI Governance & Security Engineer to build the enterprise control plane for safe, compliant, and scalable AI and agentic system deployment. This hands-on role involves shaping governance frameworks, hardening AI platform security, and embedding engineering controls with use-case teams to ensure AI systems are auditable, compliant, and useful in production.

• Design and author enterprise AI governance framework and lifecycle controls
• Operationalize AI/ML risk tiers and controls aligned with regulatory standards
• Perform AI-specific threat modeling and design mitigations
• Build AI-specific incident response playbooks and DevSecOps for AI
• Embed with teams to design and ship executable controls for AI solutions
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML governance and security
