Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at Cisco, you will develop and implement security controls, conduct risk assessments, and research emerging threats to protect our systems. You will build and operate security observability capabilities across various environments, translating security requirements into automated monitoring and remediation workflows.

• Design and automate continuous security monitoring for SaaS, cloud, and endpoints
• Translate security requirements into measurable monitoring controls
• Integrate security platforms using APIs and event-driven workflows
• Develop dashboards for configuration drift, vulnerabilities, and remediation tracking
• Automate ticket creation, risk routing, and remediation validation
• Strong understanding of AI for process automation
