Senior Security Engineer

Ardent is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their team supporting national security and defense priorities. This hybrid role focuses on Microsoft Sentinel administration, detection rule development, and log management within a Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) environment. The position requires strong technical expertise in SIEM platforms and modern security tools to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Sentinel
• Develop and tune detection rules and analytics
• Write and optimize KQL queries
• Validate log ingestion and data sources
• Support vulnerability management and patch governance
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and detection engineers

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
