Cybersecurity Engineer

GDIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in Bossier City, LA. This hybrid role focuses on strengthening security operations and enhancing visibility across critical environments by supporting SIEM engineering, detection development, and security monitoring. You will onboard log sources, write SIEM queries, build dashboards, and assist with platform maintenance and tuning.

• Support SIEM engineering, detection development, and security monitoring
• Onboard new log sources and configure forwarders
• Write and troubleshoot SIEM search queries
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and alerts
• Assist with SIEM platform maintenance and data quality checks
• Develop familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework
