Cyber Security Engineer

AEVEX is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures across our diverse systems. You will conduct vulnerability assessments, respond to incidents, and collaborate with engineering teams to translate findings into actionable improvements. This role offers the opportunity to harden real systems, reduce attack surfaces, and strengthen our overall security posture.

• Design and implement security controls for vessel, ground, and communication systems
• Interpret security assessments and translate findings into engineering tasks
• Harden Linux systems, containers, and distributed components
• Strengthen authentication, access control, segmentation, and monitoring
• Analyze system vulnerabilities and validate fixes
• Define practical security requirements and contribute to technical documentation

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
