Staff Security Detection Engineer, Machine Learning

SoFi is seeking a Staff Security Detection Engineer to build and mature its machine learning-driven detection and anomaly detection program. You will be responsible for the end-to-end model lifecycle, from feature engineering to validation, operating on large-scale security data lakes and streaming pipelines. This role involves partnering with Security Operations and Fraud teams to transform high-volume telemetry into high-confidence, low-noise detections.

• Design, build, and maintain ML models for anomaly detection
• Operationalize models and detections from notebook to production
• Engineer and tune features from various security telemetry sources
• Partner with SOC to triage, tune, and close detection feedback loops
• Collaborate with Threat Intelligence and Fraud stakeholders
• Establish model governance and monitoring
