Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise Security Operations

Aurora is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join their Enterprise Security Operations team. This role focuses on the deep configuration, tuning, and operational health of security platforms like EDR, SIEM, and IAM, rather than traditional software engineering. You will be responsible for developing detections, conducting threat hunting, and serving as the primary expert for enterprise security tooling.

• Own operational health and continuous improvement of enterprise security platforms
• Develop and refine detection rules and alert policies
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across security telemetry
• Serve as the deepest internal expert on enterprise security tooling
• Participate in on-call rotation for security incident investigations
• Audit and validate security control effectiveness
