Principal Security Engineer - Identity and Access Management (Hybrid - Seattle)

Nordstrom is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead the architecture and strategy for enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role focuses on workforce, customer, and privileged access, as well as emerging agentic identity for AI and automation. You will drive innovation, set technical direction, and mentor teams to ensure identity is a foundational enabler of secure business operations.

• Lead IAM architecture and strategy for workforce, customer, and agentic identity
• Drive innovation in cloud IAM, zero trust, and identity automation
• Serve as principal technical advisor on identity architecture and risk
• Define and lead Nordstrom's agentic identity strategy for AI agents and automation
• Partner with engineering teams to operationalize agentic identity controls
• Mentor IAM engineers and foster technical excellence
