Senior Security Automation Engineer

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design and build AI-driven automations and internal applications. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency and security of Security, IT, and GRC teams by developing agentic workflows and ensuring the safe and compliant use of AI. You will own projects end-to-end, from requirements to production delivery, in a high-autonomy, hands-on engineering position.

• Design and develop AI-driven automations, internal applications, and agentic workflows
• Automate repetitive security, compliance, and operational processes
• Integrate AI and automation with enterprise platforms (ITSM, IAM, SIEM, SOAR, GRC)
• Develop secure human-in-the-loop approval patterns for AI actions
• Contribute to penetration-testing and red-team efforts
• Define standards and guardrails for responsible AI use
