Staff Vulnerability Management Engineer

SoFi is seeking a Staff Vulnerability Management Engineer to lead complex technical work in their vulnerability management program. You will design and build scalable systems to identify, prioritize, and track vulnerabilities across various surfaces. This hands-on role involves writing production code, making architectural decisions, and improving vulnerability risk reduction, while partnering with multiple teams to accelerate remediation.

• Design and build scalable systems for vulnerability identification, prioritization, and tracking
• Write production code and make architecture decisions for vulnerability management
• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, SRE, Compliance, and Legal teams
• Serve as a senior technical responder for critical vulnerabilities and zero-day events
• Lead root-cause analysis for high-impact vulnerability incidents
• Mentor engineers and establish vulnerability management standards
