Join Micron as a Staff AI Security Engineer to build and operate the defenses that protect our AI systems and secure them against emerging threats. This hands-on role involves developing tools, architectures, and frameworks to secure AI agents and respond to adversarial attacks across their lifecycle, setting the technical direction for AI security within the organization.

What we are looking for

Build and harden security tools for AI agents and model-backed services
Operate and mature AI guardrails, including prompt-injection defenses and DLP
Design detection capabilities for agentic threats and develop automated response tools
Create reusable architectures and frameworks for agentic system security
Evaluate and implement emerging AI security tools and techniques
8+ years of security engineering experience with strong Python and API skills
