Cyber Security Engineer

As a Cyber Security Engineer at Firstcentral, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving our specialized cyber security controls, tooling, and automation across the organization. You will work closely with technology teams to ensure security is integrated into our systems and processes, aligning with best practices and regulatory requirements. This role offers a hybrid working model, predominantly home-based with occasional office visits.

• Engineer, configure, and maintain cyber security controls within the Microsoft security ecosystem
• Develop and maintain security telemetry, data connectors, and alerting integrations
• Build, test, and maintain security automation, orchestration, and response workflows
• Implement and maintain technical security policies, baselines, and guardrails
• Provide technical support for cyber incident investigations and threat hunting
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra, Purview)
