Security Engineer, Application Security

Figure is seeking a Security Engineer to join their Security & Privacy team in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on securing their humanoid robot and associated backend services, requiring strong software engineering skills and experience in application security. You will conduct security assessments, design mitigation strategies, and hunt for vulnerabilities.

• Conduct security assessments of applications, embedded systems, and backend services
• Design and implement technical solutions to mitigate security weaknesses
• Build frameworks to prevent classes of vulnerabilities
• Hunt for vulnerabilities and insecure coding patterns
• Strong software engineering skills in C/C++, Rust, Golang, or Python
• Experience securing embedded systems
