Security Engineer, Detection & Response

Liftoff is seeking a Security Engineer specializing in Detection & Response to enhance their security posture. This role involves operating and improving their SIEM, leading AI-augmented SOC tooling adoption, and managing incident response. You will build automation, partner with engineering teams, and contribute to cloud and application security.

• Operate and enhance SIEM (Panther) for log ingestion and detection content
• Lead adoption of AI-augmented SOC tooling for modernization
• Triage security alerts and drive timely investigation and remediation
• Lead incident response, including investigation, containment, and post-incident reviews
• Build automation for threat detection and alert enrichment
• Partner with Engineering and IT to enable self-service security scaling
