About this role

Medtronic is seeking a Principal Security & Privacy Engineer to lead privacy by design practices for connected medical devices and supporting systems. This role involves hands-on leadership in privacy risk management, regulatory compliance, assessments, and incident response to embed privacy throughout the product lifecycle.

What we are looking for

Lead Privacy by Design framework integration into product development
Identify privacy risks and define technical/procedural controls
Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
Develop privacy documentation, data maps, and compliance evidence
Lead privacy investigations and incident response
Consult with engineering, legal, and regulatory stakeholders
