Senior IAM Engineer

xAI is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and mature their enterprise IAM ecosystem. This hands-on role involves owning complex IAM initiatives from strategy to optimization, collaborating with various teams to ensure secure and scalable identity solutions. The position requires strong technical expertise in IAM principles, protocols, platforms, and cloud environments.

• Design and implement enterprise IAM solutions across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS
• Architect and deliver end-to-end federation strategies
• Lead integration of key IAM platforms (SailPoint, Okta, PingOne, Microsoft Entra ID)
• Drive Identity Lifecycle Management, RBAC, PAM, and Just-In-Time access initiatives
• Develop automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the primary IAM SME
