Senior Software Operating System Security Engineer

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Operating System Security Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain RHEL-based systems, implement OS hardening, and develop automated workflows. This role involves applying systems engineering principles to ensure system reliability and security in a defense environment.

• Design, deploy, and maintain RHEL-based systems
• Implement OS hardening and security controls
• Develop automated configuration workflows using Ansible or IaC tools
• Write scripts for system configuration and monitoring
• Apply systems engineering principles to requirements analysis and design
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
