Cybersecurity Engineer

MetTel is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Corporate IT Team in NYC. This role involves both building and operating security infrastructure, including architecting and implementing enterprise-grade security platforms on-prem and in the cloud. You will be responsible for detection logic, dashboard creation, SOAR playbook development, and incident response.

• Architect and implement enterprise security platforms (CyberArk, Splunk, Tenable, SOAR, OKTA)
• Design for scale, including capacity planning and redundancy
• Operate built platforms with custom dashboards and correlation rules
• Own incident response and threat hunting
• Support compliance audits (SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53)
• 4+ years of experience building and operating security platforms
