Cybersecurity Engineer

Workday is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their Security Automation & Integration Engineering team. This role focuses on building and evolving the core components that power Workday's Active Defense initiatives, including agent harnesses, application UIs, and data schemas. You will transform operational challenges into scalable software solutions, partnering with security domain experts to enhance detection, response, and threat intelligence capabilities.

• Own agent-adjacent application development including eval harnesses and UIs
• Design and evolve schemas and data contracts for agents and humans
• Translate vague partner requests into shipped, operational systems
• Build and maintain integrations across security tools and enterprise platforms
• Enhance AI-augmented engineering practices within the team
• Prototype, test, ship, learn, and improve iteratively
