Staff Cybersecurity Engineer

Divergent is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Engineer with SOC operations experience in a federal contractor environment. This hands-on role involves leading threat analysis, maintaining IT and OT risk posture, and tuning SIEM detections. You will also serve as a technical escalation point for complex incidents and contribute to incident response planning and security assessments.

• Identify and analyze enterprise threats
• Tune SIEM detections and develop correlation searches
• Serve as technical escalation for complex cybersecurity incidents
• Implement STIGs and security baselines
• Conduct post-incident reviews and proactive threat research
• Develop and maintain Incident Response Plan and playbooks
