About this role

LucyRx is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and enforce cloud-native security controls within Azure. This role focuses on identity-first security, workload protection, and secure cloud architectures, ensuring security is integral to the platform. You will partner with engineering and operations teams to maintain secure, compliant, and resilient Azure environments.

Design and implement Azure security controls for identity, networking, and workloads
Operate and maintain Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and monitoring tools
Implement identity-centric security models like MFA and Zero Trust
Embed security into cloud platform standards and Infrastructure-as-Code
Monitor security posture, review alerts, and participate in incident response
Identify and remediate gaps in cloud security controls
