Principal Application Security Engineer

Join CDW's Global Information Security team as a Principal Application Security Engineer to embed security into software development at scale. You will act as a senior technical leader, influencing secure engineering practices across the enterprise and partnering with development, platform, SRE, and DevOps teams. This role involves hands-on work shaping direction, building trust, and diving into technical details to reduce risk and enable delivery.

• Lead secure code reviews, threat models, and design assessments
• Drive application security controls across CI/CD pipelines
• Identify and remediate control gaps and engineering friction
• Define and build secure coding standards, playbooks, and tooling
• Serve as a senior technical partner to engineering teams
• Advance secure AI development and application practices
