Security Engineer (Infrastructure)

SpaceX is seeking a Security Engineer to design, build, and operate secure on-premises Kubernetes clusters that host critical security services. You will automate cluster operations, manage underlying infrastructure, and ensure the reliability and security of platform services. This role involves responding to incidents, identifying threats, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Design, build, and operate on-premises Kubernetes clusters
• Automate cluster build-out, configuration, and operations
• Manage compute, storage, and networking for container platforms
• Harden clusters and workloads, including RBAC and secure configuration
• Respond to production incidents and drive them to resolution
• Identify threats and gaps, shipping platform changes to reduce risk
