Senior Engineer II - Product Security

Microchip is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join their Product Security Office. This role involves managing product security vulnerabilities, supporting incident response, and contributing to security standards and regulatory compliance across hardware, firmware, and software products. You will assess vulnerabilities, drive remediation, collaborate with external researchers, and author security advisories.

• Manage intake, triage, and case management of product vulnerability reports
• Perform technical vulnerability assessments and apply CVSS scoring
• Drive remediation coordination with engineering teams
• Collaborate with external security researchers and coordination centers
• Author security advisories, bulletins, and customer communications
• Contribute to new regulations and standardization activities (EU CRA, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434)
