Sr. PKI Engineer

Blackbaud is seeking a Sr. PKI Engineer to manage and maintain our Public Key Infrastructure and certificate services. This role is crucial for ensuring the security and availability of our cryptographic services, driving automation, and supporting enterprise-wide expansion of our Cryptographic Services Program.

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)
• Operate certificate lifecycle management platforms (e.g., Venafi, Keyfactor)
• Support HSM-backed services like Fortanix Data Security Manager
• Troubleshoot and resolve certificate issuance, renewal, and trust chain issues
• Maintain PowerShell scripts and PKI automation
• Respond to certificate expiration alerts and coordinate renewals
