Privacy By Design Engineer

General Motors is seeking a Privacy by Design Engineer to embed privacy, data protection, and compliance into enterprise data platforms, analytics, AI, and vehicle technologies. This hybrid role involves collaborating with Legal, Cybersecurity, and Product teams to translate requirements into technical controls and engineering solutions, with a focus on vehicle-generated data and software systems.

• Design and develop technical privacy solutions for enterprise and vehicle programs
• Analyze requirements to identify privacy risks and control needs
• Perform detailed design analysis and recommend privacy-by-design implementations
• Develop technical specifications for privacy capabilities
• Participate in software design reviews and provide privacy engineering guidance
• Embed privacy requirements into data, analytics, AI, software, and vehicle development processes
