About this role
Muon Space is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect their infrastructure, data, and people. You will manage security across endpoints, networks, cloud, and identity systems, while contributing to compliance efforts like NIST 800-171 and ITAR/EAR. This hybrid role requires on-site work in San Jose, CA, or can be fully remote from an approved U.S. location.
What we are looking for
6- Design and manage endpoint security solutions (EDR/XDR)
- Own network security architecture including firewalls and VPNs
- Lead vulnerability management and SIEM monitoring
- Administer IAM systems (Okta, AWS IAM)
- Drive cloud security posture management in AWS
- Support NIST 800-171 and ITAR/EAR compliance
