Security Engineer

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance their Application Security and AI Security programs. You will integrate security scanning into development workflows, assess infrastructure, and support protective controls. This role involves partnering with development teams to identify vulnerabilities, improve secure coding practices, and protect organizational assets.

• Identify, assess, and prioritize AppSec and AI Security risks and vulnerabilities
• Implement and improve security controls and automation in GitLab CI/CD workflows
• Review Terraform configurations for security weaknesses
• Support Web Application Firewall (WAF) configurations and monitoring
• Partner with engineering teams to interpret scanning results and promote secure coding
• Conduct security assessments of applications, APIs, and AI solutions
