Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

VELCO is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to protect our corporate technology environment and ensure the reliable transmission of electric power. You will investigate threats, manage vulnerabilities, engineer security solutions, and contribute to our NERC CIP compliance program. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact on critical infrastructure security.

• Monitor and triage security alerts across enterprise systems
• Investigate suspicious activity and coordinate incident response
• Administer and improve security operations tools (SIEM, EDR, etc.)
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation
• Support NERC CIP compliance activities
• Perform threat hunting and security analysis
