Security Specialist

The Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence & Security (ARLIS) at the University of Maryland seeks a Security Specialist to ensure the physical protection of a DoD-sponsored research center. This role involves safeguarding personnel, facilities, information systems, and classified information, requiring a strong commitment to national security and the ability to respond during emergencies.

• Safeguard personnel, facilities, equipment, and classified information
• Respond to emergencies and critical incidents
• Maintain vigilance and attention to detail
• Perform inspections and access control duties
• Obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret required, TS/SCI preferred)

• No visa sponsorship is available.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

• Requires a Top Secret security clearance.
