Hardware and Firmware Security Research Engineer

Join our Security Lab as a Hardware and Firmware Security Research Engineer to design platform security for endpoint devices. You will focus on hardware-firmware co-design, robust roots of trust, and security properties, contributing to HP's security research and informing future product designs. This role requires strong computer architecture and systems security skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

• Develop new hardware and firmware security architecture
• Build prototypes to de-risk and demonstrate feasibility
• Analyze use cases and threats for endpoint devices
• Collaborate with business R&D and security technologists
• Experience with hardware/firmware technologies (x86, ARM, UEFI, PCIe, DMA)
• Strong computer architecture and systems security knowledge
