Cyber Security Engineer Internship

TrendAI is seeking motivated interns to join their European Cyber Defence Team in Cork for an 8-month paid work placement. You will gain exposure to a wide range of IT security skills, including log analysis, automation with Python, vulnerability patching, and network troubleshooting, while contributing to protecting the company's infrastructure and learning about emerging AI threats.

• Support cyber defense operations by reviewing logs and performing root cause analysis
• Automate repetitive tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Power Automate
• Patch and mitigate the latest security vulnerabilities
• Troubleshoot network security issues and identify security gaps
• Conduct phishing simulations and user security education
• Utilize Trend Micro's security product suite to protect infrastructure
