About this role
Verily is seeking a Security Operations Tech Lead to enhance cloud detection and response capabilities across GCP and AWS. You will leverage your expertise in security, software engineering, and SRE to build scalable systems protecting sensitive health data. This hands-on role involves shaping cloud detection strategy, developing telemetry pipelines, and automating response workflows, with opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship.
What we are looking for 6
- Design, deploy, and improve cloud threat detections across GCP and AWS
- Drive threat hunting and cloud asset discovery initiatives
- Own and optimize high-volume security telemetry pipelines
- Apply SRE principles to detection services and establish SLOs/SLIs
- Develop IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated workflows for security operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement robust security controls
