R&D Engineer

Hitachi Energy is seeking an R&D Engineer in Beijing to engage in the full product development lifecycle for high-voltage switchgear, from concept to service support. This role involves global technical support, cross-functional collaboration, and detailed design work including 3D modeling, simulations, and root cause analysis.

• Engage in product development: concept, design, prototype, test, documentation
• Deliver HV switchgear products and solutions meeting all requirements
• Provide global product technical support for High Voltage Switchgear
• Collaborate with cross-functions in design and solution development
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings, perform calculations and simulations
• Conduct quality case root cause analysis with electrical and mechanical knowledge
