About this role
Blue Origin is seeking a Senior FPGA Design and Verification Engineer to develop digital signal processing and physical layer implementations for their Terawave satellite communications network. You will architect, design, implement, and verify FPGA-based modem solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
What we are looking for
6- Architect and design FPGA implementations of modem and physical layer functions
- Translate system and DSP algorithm requirements into RTL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog)
- Develop and execute comprehensive verification strategies (UVM, constrained-random)
- Perform timing closure, resource optimization, and design implementation
- Support hardware bring-up, lab testing, and validation
- Contribute to design reviews and documentation for space-based applications
