Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Healthcare Interpreter to provide linguistic and cultural mediation for Spanish-speaking patients at Carolinas Medical Center. This role ensures equal access to care by facilitating accurate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers through in-person, telephone, and video interpretation.

• Provide in-person, telephone, and video interpretation for Spanish-speaking patients
• Serve as a linguistic and cultural intermediary in healthcare settings
• Interpret patient education, discharge instructions, and emergency encounters
• Act as a cultural broker to educate caregivers on patient culture
• High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year of related experience and medical terminology knowledge required
