Structural Engineer – Mid Level (Hybrid)

Barr is seeking a mid-level structural engineer for their Hibbing, MN team. This hybrid role involves providing design and technical expertise for heavy industrial sites, including power plants and mining facilities. Responsibilities include structural analysis, inspection, developing plans and specifications, creating models, writing reports, and supporting construction observation.

• Perform structural analysis and design for industrial and energy structures
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation
• Conduct site visits and inspections for construction observation
• Utilize structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD Pro
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis and 5+ years of experience
